HVAC Duct Cleaning

3/26/2018 (Permalink)

This is an inside of a HVAC duct line we recently cleaned. The dust and debris is being circulated throughout the structure.

As spring slowly comes, it is time to begin thinking about servicing your HVAC system. While we may not yet believe it due to the extended winter, the time will come when it's needed. Servicing the system ahead of time is a way to ensure that it is working properly when it's needed.
An often overlooked part of the HVAC system is the duct work. These need servicing (i.e. cleaning) periodically as well. If your ducts have not been cleaned in awhile, they could be compromising your indoor air quality. Factors such as pets, cigarette smoke or mold issue could affect the air your breath.
SERVPRO of Carbondale/Clarks Summit/Old Forge has a certified HVAC technician who can inspect your duct work and determine if a cleaning is beneficial. We use a portable system of whips and brushes to clean the totality of the lines while placing the system under negative pressure. The dust and debris are sent through a hepa filter into a vacuum. We can also seal and deodorize the system.
If your duct work has been left unattended give SERVPRO of Carbondale/Clarks Summit/Old Forge a call. We offer free estimates and will work non-traditional hours to reduce your business interruption. How is your indoor air quality?
